Dan Aylott

Dan Aylott is Head of European Private Investments and a Partner at Cambridge Associates.

Dan joined the firm in 2012 and is based in the London office. He leads Cambridge Associates’ EMEA Private Equity and Venture Capital Research team. Dan works directly with a variety of clients including UK and US pension funds and foundations on the construction and management of custom global private investment portfolios on both an advisory and discretionary basis. He is also a member of the firm’s Private Investments Ratings Committee and Discretionary Private Investments (DPI) team.

Dan has more than 20 years of private investment experience. Before joining Cambridge Associates, he was a Programme Manager responsible for private equity at Kedge Capital. Prior to that, he was a Portfolio Manager at BP Investment Management where he helped to manage the BP pension fund’s global private equity programme. Earlier in his career, Dan worked for Pinebridge and Aviva Investors where he was responsible for private equity fund investments in Europe.

Dan received his BSc in Mathematics from the University of Southampton. He is a CIMA® charterholder and an Investment Management Certificate Holder.
