Thomas O’Mahony

Tom O’Mahony is a Senior Investment Director at Cambridge Associates.

Tom is part of the Capital Markets Research Group that is charged with developing the firm’s strategic and tactical asset allocation guidance. He conducts research into broad macroeconomic themes in addition to asset class topics. Tom has authored numerous publications and contributes to the firm’s asset allocation committee. He is based in our London office.

Prior to joining Cambridge Associates in 2019, Tom spent seven years with Janus Henderson Investors, an asset management firm based in London, where he was an Investment Strategist and Portfolio Manager for their Global Bonds team. In this role Tom analysed the interest rate and foreign exchanges of developed and emerging markets. He also managed a number of government bond portfolios as well as contributed to the asset allocation of the firm’s multi-sector fixed income portfolios.

Tom holds an MSc in Finance from University College Dublin and a BSc in Finance from University College Cork. He is a CFA® charterholder.
